Founded in 1939, by Herbert, Edgar and Bill Taylor in Dallas, Texas, the company has remained close to its founding heritage in printing and sales. In the years since its founding, the company has gone through several growth and development phases to become one of the Graphic Arts 101 printers, and the 6th largest book manufacturer in North America.
The primary manufacturing facility in Dallas contains over 325,000 sqft of dedicated book manufacturing capabilities. We have one of the largest sheet-fed pressrooms in the country. Taylor and its parent company, American Achievement Corporation, have reinvested over $34 million in capital improvements since 2000.
These investments in technology, presses and bindery make Taylor Specialty Books a state-of-the-art facility. We are dedicated to delivering a high-quality product, within your budget, while meeting your scheduling needs.
Our capabilities include: 1-8 color printing, short to medium run lengths, Smyth case-bound and juvenile side-sewn books, saddle stitch binding in house, as well as perfect binding (PUR available) and multiple types of mechanical binding. We offer a turn-key solution for your manufacturing needs.
